A/C Front Panel - Fine Mesh Lower Grille Vent | Contoured

A contoured grille insert designed specifically for the two lower slots in the Land Rover Defender air-conditioning (AC) moulding.

Featuring HartHaus’s bold hexagonal opening pattern, each insert mounts from behind the moulding, with its raised face projecting through the opening for a clean, integrated finish. The design complements the HartHaus Defender Hex Side Vent and Hex Wing Top Vents.

Designed for the AC moulding

These inserts fit into the existing extended AC moulding—the housing that provides additional clearance for the air-conditioning condenser and auxiliary fan. They replace the grille inserts only, not the complete moulding.

Two identical inserts are required per vehicle, one for each slot. Manufacture the supplied file twice to complete the pair. The insert is designed for manufacture on printers with a 256 × 256 × 256 mm build volume, avoiding the need to produce a single component over 500 mm long.

Fitment notes

Check your AC moulding before manufacturing. Aftermarket mouldings can vary in dimensions and finish, including examples sold under part number ASJ710060.

During development, some aftermarket air-conditioning housings were found to have uneven finishing around the openings. Depending on your housing, trimming of the surrounding plastic and/or grille component may be necessary to achieve the intended fit.

Trial-fit both sections before final installation. A modification-free fit cannot be guaranteed across all aftermarket housings.

Not intended for front panels without the corresponding AC moulding and two lower grille slots.
